To hire an inflatable on public park or council land you must first obtain a permit from the relevant council.
Each council has different rules or regulations, good news! The City of Gold Coast Council, allows jumping castle hire. However, you do need to get a permit & there's a small fee.

First thing to consider, park permits are limited. Gold Coast council reserves only so many spots for parties each day. We strongly recommend getting in early to ensure your date is reserved.
If your booking cannot go ahead because of your local council, we'll refund your hire.

So what are the council rules surrounding these public park parties?
How much will it cost us for the permit? The permit will set you back about $124, as much as paying the council is never fun. Atleast, you can guarantee you're not having a party pile up at the park, as only one party can reserve the park per day! (First in best dressed, please note they do book fast).
Who can I hire off for the Jumping Castle? The answer is Approved Operaters only. Be careful around Facebook Marketplace! You need to hire through an operator with $20 million in public liability insurance, such as A-Leap Castle Hire - $20 million public liability insurance or even Leapfrog Jumping Castle Hire - Approved Operator for Gold Coast Public Parks
Will the park have power? Unfortunately not, in our experience we are yet to come across one with public access to power, play it safe and choose a provider who also hires out generators (P.S... We offer generator hires for all our public park parties hehe). Otherwise, feel free to use your own (3.5KVA).
What happens if it rains? in some cases we may cancel & provide a refund, but with all our hires, if you choose not to go ahead due to weather we will refund. We don't operate to take money for not working.
Do we need supervision? Yes! But any adult at the party will suit, Jumping castles are for fun not rocket science 😋
